Follow these steps to install and activate ShellPet on your device

macOS Installation

Step 1: Open DMG File

Double-click the downloaded ShellPet_0.1.1_aarch64.dmg file

Step 2: Install App

Drag ShellPet.app to the Applications folder

Step 3: First Launch (Important)

Due to macOS security, you need to do this for the first launch:

  1. Open Finder β†’ Applications
  2. Right-click on ShellPet.app
  3. Select "Open"
  4. Click "Open Anyway" in the security prompt
⚠️Troubleshooting: "File is damaged" error
Method 1: Right-click to Open (Recommended)
1. Open Finder β†’ Applications
2. Right-click on ShellPet.app
3. Select Open
4. Click Open Anyway
Method 2: Terminal Commands
Open "Terminal" and run:
xattr -cr /Applications/ShellPet.app
open /Applications/ShellPet.app

Windows Installation

Step 1: Download Installer

Download ShellPet_0.1.1_x64-setup.exe orShellPet_0.1.1_x64_en-US.msi

Step 2: Run Installer

Double-click the downloaded file and follow the prompts

Step 3: Launch App

Launch ShellPet from Start Menu or desktop shortcut

Linux Installation

Step 1: Download AppImage

Download ShellPet_0.1.1_amd64.AppImage

Step 2: Add Execute Permissionchmod +x ShellPet_0.1.1_amd64.AppImage
Step 3: Run App./ShellPet_0.1.1_amd64.AppImage

Activate License

After receiving the license file, follow these steps to activate:

  1. Launch ShellPet application
  2. Click the menu bar icon and select Settings
  3. In the settings page, click the About tab
  4. Click the "Import License" button
  5. Select the received license.dat file
  6. Upon successful activation, the About page will display your license tier
